Find out more on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa\_aiJ4L7EDo you want to work for a global player, where we care about ethics, inclusion and diversity and our people?This position is responsible for ecodesign-related product stewardship activities within Electrical Sector and is understood to be the subject matter expert on all ecodesign issues of product stewardship.Based in any of the following locations: Bonn or Berlin (Germany); Vienna (Austria); Montbonnot (France); Prague (Czech Republic); Hengelo (Netherlands); Espoo (Finnland); Luton (UK)Under ecodesign falls:+ Compliance with energy-related regulations such as the European ErP-Directive 2009/125/EC and its applicable implementing measures and other ErP-regulations of markets on which electrical sector products are placed;+ Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions associated with the design and use electrical products;+ Improvement of product circularity of electrical products.+ The position holder is responsible for developing and implementing product design tools integrated into the PROLaunch NPI process. Incumbent will act as resource to consult and support product teams in the divisions regarding the ecodesign execution in NPI- and VAVE-projects.Your key deliverables+ Advocates Eatons commitments towards sustainable development in the engineering community of the electrical sector.+ Interprets existing, new and upcoming ecodesign-related regulations of markets affecting products of Eaton Electrical Sector.+ Translates ecodesign-related regulatory requirements into actionable product specifications.+ Tracks and reports the overall product compliance status on BU-, divisional-, and sector-level by developing analytical product compliance status reports.+ Develops and implements methods to estimate and report the scope-3 emissions of the electrical sector product portfolio.+ Develops solution of PLC emission reduction through digitalization (smart appliances) and energy transformation (micro grids, energy storage).+ Develops design principles, tools and methods to address and reduce product lifecycle emissions (Design for Climate Change).+ Develops and implements methods to quantify circularity such as recyclability, re-usability, durability and disassembly of products.+ Develops design principles, tools and methods to address and improve product circularity (Design for Circularity).+ Supports new product- and VAVE-programs regarding the execution of the ecodesign process (Design for Compliance/Climate Change/Circularity DfC3) for ensuring that internal and external ecodesign-related requirements are met.+ Conducts lifecycle assessments and environmental product declarations.Are you?
